Wow! I'm almost embarrassed to turn this site back on, but at least
it's working again. My web host changed servers a few times and
changed the default settings - thus the site went down. Maybe someday
I'll turn this into a real blog.
Quick update - we have 3 children! Jenn and I are
on Facebook. If you found this page I suspect you find it through a
random search engine rather than deliberately. My friends wouldn't
come here to find me :).

Happy New Year! We had a great Christmas break visiting family and
relaxing from routine. We also enjoyed celebrating the birth of our
Savior with our families and our church family. We hope your Christmas
was meaningful as well.
Annelise is growing fast, and is now 6 1/2 weeks old.
Here's a picture
from Christmas time. We're having a great time with
her. We've been doing scheduled feedings with her, and she's now
sleeping 5 1/2 to 6 1/2 hrs per night. Great!!

Saturday night (Nov 25th) at 5:07pm, we welcomed
Annelise Katherine Campbell into the world. Jenn did so well, and we're very blessed to have a
healthy little girl. She was 7lbs, 14 ozs, and 21" long. She's
lean and very strong. God has been so kind.
We kept her middle name as
a surprise; it has a two-fold meaning for us. Kathryn is my sister's full
name (note the different spelling), and Erin is Jenn's sister's name. Both of them had significant events take place in their lives this year, so we incorporated
both their names together into KathERINe so we would remember.
Here are a few more pictures:

Well, Jenn is 38 1/2 weeks along, so the baby is due anytime. She's
feeling good; just sore and tired, but no complications. We're almost
ready with having hospital bags packed, nursery ready, etc. Jenn is
working part time this week, and is off next week, so she has more time now.
She's so strong to work up near the end. I don't know how she does it.
Also, thanks to Cecelia for pointing out that our
guestbook was down. It should be fixed now, so feel free to leave us a
message!

I know we haven't posted in awhile and Jenn is really getting along in her
pregnancy. Here's a
picture of what we know so far. In the meantime, our home office is
s l o w l y
morphing into an office/nursery. Jenn's due date is officially
November 30th; we're expecting she may be a few days late, but only God
knows. We're so excited! We're going to let the gender be a
surprise. We did pick out first names: either Ian
or Annelise. Most people are guessing she will be Annelise.
:-) We will just have to wait and see.
Jenn is feeling pretty good. First trimester was
rough with all-day sickness, but the rest of it has been pretty good.
Her aches and energy are the only problems so far. We're very
thankful.

Guess What?!? Yup. We're expecting our first baby in mid
December. We're praying that God would protect the miracle He began.
No idea on names yet. :-)

Happy New Year! We hope you had a good Christmas and New Year
celebration. It was Jenn's and my first together as a married
couple. We had a great visit with both our sets of parents, and even
had some time to be just the two of us!
Thanks to Adam T. for noting the broken links on our
Courtship and Proposal pages (and to Katy for noting that I misspelled Lea's
name on the Wedding page). They're fixed now.

We hope you had a good Thanksgiving. We had a great visit with Jenn's
parents on Nov 19-21, and dinner at my parents' house on Thanksgiving Day.
We have a lot for which to thank our gracious God!
I finally posted the pictures from the Roanoke Reception
that took place on July 30th. You can view them
here. Also, the wedding
video should be done in late December, and I hope to have enough webspace to
post video segments of our vows, etc. We shall see.

We are getting settled into our new town house (finally!), and beginning to
enjoy the relaxed life. All we need now is lots of bookshelf space.
We got our craft room cleaned up enough that we can actually sit at our desk
now and work side-by-side on our laptops (which is occurring as I type
this). We're such nerds. I love it! Unfortunately, our
guestbook is out of commission until I get some technical support from my
web host. Hopefully, that will be in the next month or so - it's
amazing how much time disappears once you get married!

We got back from our honeymoon in Seattle, WA and
Victoria, B.C. Canada on Sunday, July 10th. Thanks very much to all
friends who sent gifts, attended the wedding, and have prayed for us!
We appreciate all of you!
