Hey Colin!! Long time no see!! I ran into your mom and dad on Saturday, May 7th, and they informed me of your news. Congratulations to you both on your first baby!! You still seem like a baby to me, and now you are all grown up. I hope it is a girl, but as long as he or she is healthy that is all that matters. We now have three little girls ourselves (Yeah, that is no boys for us!!) Our little Ashley born on January 10, 2006, and was a BIG suprise to us. She is a handful, but a keeper!! I really enjoyed your website. I am retiring from VWCC as of May 1. I had a bad fall back in September and was off from work for 4 months. When I returned to work, I had moved to Floyd County, so I decided to retire rather than travel up and down Bent Mountain every day. I broke my elbow, wrist and fingers on both hands. But God blessed me so much. I am alive and I didn't break my neck or back or legs, which would have been so easy since I fell down 14 steps from the first to the second floor of our Roanoke home. We actually have/had 2 homes - one in Roanoke and one in Floyd County, where I spent my weekends. When I got up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom, I thought I was still in our Floyd home and I just turned left and went into mid-air. I slammed into the wall at the bottom and (according to my PT) my arm and hands saved my life by taking the brunt of my fall. I spent a lot of time talking to the Lord during that dark time of healing and He led me to leave Virginia Western to serve Him full-time. God is always on time, isn't He! Just like He was on time with Jen for you. I am so happy for you both. Stay close to the Lord and enjoy all He has in store for you. God bless you both, Carol
